Grace L. Davis is a native of Louisiana. She was born in Natchitoches, raised by her single-parent mother, Florida Davis, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and mentored by her grandfather, Paul Johnson. She is a proud mother of three amazing children, Yolanda, Arthur and Charlotte. She and has four grandchildren and four great grands.
In 2001, with no experience, Grace opened the first modern all-service African-American Supermarket in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Best For Less, employed more than 28 employees.
Grace Davis and her late husband, Min. Charles Davis were foster care parents (January 21, 2004- September 2008). The Davis' contract allowed them to house, be responsible for and care for more than six children at a time ranging from ages two through four. Due to Min. Charles' illness and transitioning in 2009, Ms. Grace decided to close the foster care facility. Grace earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Entrepreneurship from Ashford University. She is the Executive Director/Founder of Graceful New Beginnings, LLC, Corporation and Healing Hearts Treatment Center, LLC. She has 20-plus years of experience in credit and business consulting. Grace is spiritually inspired and her clients reap the benefits of her God-given talents through God's grace.
Grace has been recognized for excellence in the field of public speaking by Marquis Who's Who Magazine and recognized and featured as a new author in June 2018 by Journalist Andre T. Johnson, CEO/President of Making Headline News, a global magazine. As an accomplished businesswoman and minister of the gospel, Grace took yet another massive step toward her destiny when she released her book, How I Got Over Applying the Word of God, a guide to overcoming life's obstacles.
In addition to her many accomplishments, she is a licensed minister serving in several ministry areas in her church in Houston, Texas. She has graced several platforms: Arizona Ultimate Women's Expo, Real Talk with Carla J (KCOH-TV FM 92.9 HD2), Restorer of Hope Diamond Book Club Gathering and many more .Recently Recognized by the City of Houston and April 16, 2023 recognized as Grace Davis Day.
